Nepal
For its size this country must have the most diverse landscape in the world; from the imense Mt. Everest to the tropical Terei. And the people are as varied to match.
Most of my time here was spent hiking the Annapurna Trek; 16 days in the Himalayas amongs 8000 meter peaks and completely away from it all; no phones, no computers or cars and often without electricity. Everyone should give that a try...at least for a short while.
